Manufacturing of copper was simultaneously provided. Then nickel was produced. Manufacturing of aluminum, gold, and platinum was also organized. Scientific investigations are performed at Perm and Ural State Technical Universities. Metallurgy Institute in Ekaterinburg has developed processes for treatment of titanomagnetite ores. Ecologically safe technologies for processing the ores containing iron, chromium, nickel, and other metals should be developed.
