摘要
The sound insulation is one of the most important properties of wood frame buildings. To fabricate wood structure walls with good sound insulation, the paper studied the influences of building details on the sound insulation of wood structure walls. Results show that factors influencing the sound insulation are panel's surface density, wood stud's size and space, density and thickness of glass fiber batts (GFB). The first resonance frequency is usually above 100 Hz. It is suggested that 600 mm should be selected as the stud space. The sound insulation change curve of a wood structure wall at test frequency is finally obtained.
