The aim of constructors of large steam power plants worldwide is to develop standardized concepts and to focus on low life-cycle costs when implementing these concepts for their customers. Specific customer requirements or on-going development of a power plant site impose certain limitations. In China, a power plant of the 350 MC class will typically feature a turbine building with heater bay, a drum-type boiler with steam parameters upstream of the turbine set at pMS = 166.7 bar; TMS and TReheat = 538 °C for full-load operation, and a two-cylinder steam turbine as customer and country-specific options.
