Extrusion simulations can be useful in anticipating issues and running what-if scenarios to size extruders and design dies for extrusion projects. They should be used at early stages of any project to avoid trial and error and remaking tooling. Perhaps the most important application of tubing is in the medical field for such functions as delivering intravenous medication, restricting blood flow, tying off wounds, creating catheter systems, and numerous other purposes.
