摘要
The fault characteristic of inverter interfaced distributed generator (IIDG) mainly depends on its control strategy, thus it's necessary for microgrid protection to consider the specific control strategy of IIDG. In this paper, based on the fault model of PQ-controlled IIDGwith low voltage ride-through capability, fault current changes of IIDG were presented under the conditions of different voltage drops. Current characteristics of each feeder in the same bus were analyzed when fault occurred in different positions of microgrid. A protection principle using phase differences between fault component of positive sequence bus voltage and fault components of positive sequence currents in feeders to determine fault direction was proposed. Finally, an example was simulated in PSCAD and the results verified the validity and reliability of the proposed protection scheme. © 2017 Chin. Soc. for Elec. Eng.
