摘要
The neat-fault ground motion can dramatically influence response characteristic of the structures. And it can increase the internal force and the displacement of the structures. Because high-speed railway simple supported beam bridges also have the expansion joints as general simple supported beam bridges, the pounding will happen between adjacent beams or beams and abutment. And the pounding can cause beams falling. In this paper, the effect caused by pounding to the bridges was studied. The conclusion was draw that the pounding between two decks have heavy influence on the fixed pin bearings. This fact had not been noticed for a long time in the bridges designing.
