摘要
RFID readers of various organizations are deployed and interconnected for Internet of Things service relay, however their heterogeneous forwarding strategies tend to increase routing overhead and failure rates. Our main contribution in this paper involves proposing a novel, small world-based routing protocol. In our proposed protocol, a long-distance route path is split into three segments, wherein two proactive segments are logically shortened by hub strategy exchange, therefore allowing routing discovery overhead to be greatly reduced, while packets travel with the greatest utility function to guarantee the reachability of recent data flow. Our simulation results show that the small world approach is efficient when compared to CBPR and tagged-AODV protocols.
