Environmental protection facilities for the recycle of NH3, H2 and K2CO3 liquid and the medium pressure stripping of condensate in the decarbonization process in large ammonia plants were introduced. Technical renovation measures for environmental protection facility failure, noise pollution and remnant liquid/gas pollution were discussed. Schemes to cope with existing problems were also proposed.
