Application of GIS technology in tourism route design

In this paper, the design of tourist route based on GIS technology is studied on the current situation of tourism in China. The tourist route design can make it easier for tourists to get the route resource information of scenic areas in advance and make the tourist route suitable for them. This paper is designed to achieve the goal for tourists in real-time to determine their own location during travelling, and check the shortest route between scenic spots, and look for the most convenient transport route, and make it more convenient and timely access to information for tourists. Based on the requirement analysis, this paper has determined the design method of GIS route, and completed the system design based on GIS circuit design and analysis. This design of GIS-based tourist route can satisfy the development needs of the reality, and will surely become a new trend of tourism development.
