摘要
The enumeration of potential energy minima for amorphous particles below the shredding point density was examined. The inherent structures, consisting of dense regions penetrated by irregular void space, were found to be nonuniform in the low density regime. The inherent structures and their basins of attraction provide a useful framework for analyzing a wide range of condensed matter chemical and physical properties.
