摘要
The buildingSMART has developed Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) that makes it possible to hold and exchange relevant data between different BIM applications during building life cycle. Due to IFC data describes the BIM objects and their relationship in plain text format, the data complexity and amount of IFC data are increasing. For this reason, this research converts IFC data into BSON Document and imports those data into the document-oriented database for raising the efficiency of IFC data management. This research imports IFC data into the document-oriented database and uses IFC Data Reduction Module at the same time, that can retains the IFC data structure, and reduce a lot of objects of IFC data. Moreover, this research designs and develops an efficient query mechanism based on IFC data structure and their relationship for assisting people in efficiently acquiring needed information, and avoids the trouble that because users get information slowly or wrongly. © 2016, Chinese Institute of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering.
