Cooperate control algorithm for spacecraft formation flying based on consensus theory

In order to realize the cooperativity of the spacecraft formation flying, a spacecraft formation flying control algorithm based on consensus theory was proposed in this paper. Firstly, the consensus problem of the spacecraft formation flying was discussed. Secondly, the 6-DOF dynamics model of the spacecraft formation flying was established. Finally, a nonlinear control law was designed utilizing the consensus theory. The simulation result shows that the control algorithm is effective, which could also be applied to dynamic communication topology within the spacecraft formation flying.
