摘要：

The article discussed about the investigation report on reactive chemical hazards in the US chemical industry. The report also contains the recommendations to step up safety. The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Process Safety Management (PSM) standard should be amended to achieve more comprehensive control of reactive hazards that could have catastrophic consequences.
