摘要
The forests of eastern France suffered from significant damage during the 2015-2020 period due to recurrent extreme drought and heatwave events. This article aims to qualify the exceptional character of these events using the best available climate datasets and relevant indicators for forests. The link with climate change – which has grown more and more obvious over time – is established and quantified through detection and attribution approaches. © AgroParisTech, 2023.
