Experimental investigation of auto disturbance rejection vibration control for intelligent truss structures

An auto disturbance rejection vibration controller (ADRVC) was designed using an extended state observer (ESO) and nonlinear state error feedback control (NLSEF). Then, dSPACE simulations were used to model the vibration control of a 102-bar triangular prism piezoelectric intelligent truss structure using the auto disturbance rejection vibration control. The results demonstrate that the controller can effectively control the vibrations of the piezoelectric intelligent truss structure. The vibration amplitudes are reduced more than 81.5% when the structure is continuously excited at a low resonant frequency.
