摘要
When the single-shaft parallel hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) switches from pure electric driving mode to hybrid driving mode, owing to the transient process of engine starting and clutch engagement during mode transition, the system output torque fluctuates significantly, resulting in a larger vehicle jerk that severely degrades the vehicle drivability. In this paper, a phased coordination control strategy of power sources and clutch is proposed to address the problem. The mode transition process was divided into four consecutive phases. The phased coordination control strategy of engine, motor and clutch was developed based on the method of feed-forward and feedback composited control, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy was verified by simulation comparison. The results show that compared with the conventional control strategy, the maximum vehicle jerk and the clutch friction loss are reduced by 38% and 17% respectively by using the phased coordination control strategy. ©2016 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.
