The constraints of innovation and entrepreneurship education for university students

摘要
The paper begins with identifying the 12 constraints concerning innovation and entrepreneurship education by reading the documents and conducting research interviews, and then performs quantitative analysis of the constraint factors by applying the Grey-DEMATEL method, and concludes with an analysis of the cause-and effect relationship of the constraints and their significance. According to the analysis, key factors that impact the innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students include that the awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship needs to be raised, the driving force needs to be strengthened and more attention needs to be paid on. At the same time, those key factors are the main reasons to impact the education in innovation and entrepreneurship to college students as well. Lastly, the paper concludes puts forward some suggestions on improving the philosophy of innovation and entrepreneurship education for colleges and universities and heightens the awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship. © 2017, Taru Publications.
