Research purposes:As for the reconstruction of operated metro lines caused by its connection with large railway hubs,in order to meet the normal operation of main lines during the branch line construction,the operation organization and train integration scheme involved in metro line reconstruction are systematically studied. Moreover,the transformation and influences of civil construction,track system,catenary system,ring cable and power lighting,signal system,comprehensive monitoring and communication system are deeply studied. Considering the reconstruction difficulty,cost and construction period,the reconstruction method with the least implementation risk and the most reasonable technology is put forward. Research conclusions:(1)The influences on high-levered metro station and intersection are relatively small and can be controlled,and then the branch line can be realized while the main line is under normal operation.(2)In order to maintain the normal operation of main line during the construction of branch line,the cut and reconnection of sign cable in non-running time using current technology should be avoided. (3)As for the branch line based on independent operation,the rail track of branch line should be connected with the track in main line. Then,the maintenance service of rail train can be in great convenience,and the operation flexibility can be obtained.(4)The bridge casting and its parallel shifting are near the operating main line,the process linkage and the planning of cross construction should be optimized. And then,the flexible operation of metro line can be enhanced.(5)This paper can provide a reference for similar project in future. © 2024 Editorial Department of Journal of Railway Engineering Society.
