摘要
The continuous flax fiber reinforced polylactic acid (C-Flax/PLA) prepreg tapes were prepared by self-designed and assembled continuous fiber reinforce thermoplastic composites experimental pipeline. The effects of C-Flax and compatilizer on the properties and crystallization behavior of prepreg tapes were studied by mechanical properties, DMA, FT-IR, DSC and POM. Results of tensile strength show that the C-Flax and compatibilizer have obvious reinforcing effect on PLA. When the fiber mass fraction is 55%, the tensile strength of the prepreg tapes reaches 235.75 MPa, increased by 300% as compared to PLA, and has entered the ranks of carbon structural steel. DMA measurements show that the storage modulus of the C-Flax/PLA prepreg tapes are significantly increased compared with pure PLA, and Tg shifts to higher temperature, indicating that the deformation resistance ability is obviously improved. The results of crystallization behavior show that, the Avrami index of the materials is increased significantly after adding C-Flax. Combining with Zc and POM images, the results indicate that the C-Flax acts to induce crystallization, but hinders the growth of PLA crystals. © 2020, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering.
