High temperature low cycle fatigue life prediction models were summarized. Low cycle fatigue tests of nickle-based casting superalloy K435 were done at 900°C, Fitted formula were calculated according to the tests, the plastic strain energy formula and power exponent function formula were modified. The accuracy of the modified plastic strain energy formula is the best of all the prediction formula. The research provides technology supports for life prediction of gas turbine blades. © 2010 Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering.
