摘要
Polyhedral oligosilsesquioixanes (POSS) consists of a new well-defined nanoscale molecule (0.5~3 nm in size) with an inorganic silica-like core ((SiO1.5)n) surrounded by eight organic corner group (functional or inert) which possess high thermal stability. Polymer/POSS nanocomposites have attracted great interest of many researchers recently due to their excellent thermal properties relative to polymeric materials. In this paper, the influence factors such as dipolar-dipolar effect, hydrogen interaction, nanometer enhancement effect, dilute and free volume effect, on the thermal property of polymer/ POSS nanocomposites were summarized and different thermal property enhancement mechanisms were discussed.
