摘要
Natural vibration characteristics of SDF prestressed steel structures in different prestressed and loading states were determined by solving eigenvalue equations in which geometric nonlinearity was considered. The obtained results were verified by comparing with those from nonlinear transient analysis. The relationship between natural frequency of the SDF prestressed steel structure and its tangent stiffness was illustrated, based on which the natural vibration characteristics of cable truss structures and beam string structures were studied. It is shown that both pretension and loading change the natural frequency of prestressed steel structures by changing their tangent stiffness. Pretension usually increases tangent stiffness and natural frequency, while loading may increase or decrease them. Therefore, both pretension and loading should be considered in natural vibration analysis of prestressed steel structures. However, for well-designed beam string and similar structures, the effect of pretension and loading on tangent stiffness will counterbalance each other and natural vibration characteristics obtained by linear analysis can be used for seismic design of the structures directly. © 2017, Editorial Board of Journal of Tianjin University(Science and Technology).
