Two design methods using complete feedback of an active tuned mass damper for wind-induced vibration control of tall buildings are compared. The design objective of both methods is to minimize the variance of the rooftop displacement. In both, their parameter optimizations are conducted in the frequency domain. A very tall building is studied to quantify and assess the effectiveness of both methods.
