摘要
The Internet of things is the technical evolution of the proliferation of embedded processing and the ubiquitous connectivity of networking infrastructure. There are a lot of practical implications associated with this growth. The networking infrastructure implications alone are pretty phenomenal. This presents both great opportunities and challenges For the communication industry. If the Internet is to reach everywhere, then embedded processing solutions need to get a lot smaller. There just would not be enough space in these systems for the standard approach. Electronics make cars greener, safer, more comfortable and more connected. Infotainment systems are keeping vehicles more connected, and the industry is rapidly developing vehicle-to-vehicle communication. The Internet of Things will require more cost effective solutions for connectivity nodes that will access cloud-based services.
