摘要
Aiming at the electromagnetic field simulation of a reverberation chamber (RC), we analyzed the rationality of plane waves superposition model for RC, and obtained the parameter details such as amplitude and polarization according to the ideal field characteristics. Thereby, Matlab and FEKO was used to present a method to simulate the environment in RC. The simulation results show that the superposed field can present almost the same characteristics with the RC environment. Finally, the shielding effectiveness of a slotted rectangular cavity is simulated by using the proposed method. The results are consistent with the measured data, and the shielding effectiveness is about 15 dB. This method avoids accurate RC modeling for test, so it greatly reduces the simulation difficulty and calculation. Moreover, it provides a convenient way to deeply study the field characteristics in a reverberation chamber. © 2017, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI. All right reserved.
