Under the background of increasing global energy demand, the development and application of renewable energy has become the focus of most research and practice. In recent years, photovoltaic power station construction situation, the achievement is more ideal. However, it is worth noting that the P-U curve of PV array is prone to multi peak state changes due to the surrounding environment. If we rely solely on the traditional control algorithm, we cannot capture the maximum power point. The control algorithm is invalid, which affects the efficiency of photoelectric conversion. In this regard, we introduce chaos improved cat colony algorithm in photovoltaic MPPT. In this study, we will introduce chaos improved cat group algorithm briefly, and simulate it in photovoltaic MPPT. © 2018 Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association. All Rights Reserved.
