摘要：

The reasons behind the price hike for a wide variety of speciality amines are discussed. Producers blame the higher costs of raw materials and natural gas energy to be the main reasons for price hikes. The issues regarding the shortage of ingredients required for the preparation of ethanolamines alongwith the volatile nature of feedstocks costs, resulting in the revaluation of the price protection approaches, are also discussed.
