摘要
To assess the harmonic emission level of both utility and customer sides effectively, a new method for harmonic impedance estimation and harmonic emission level assessment based on robust independent component analysis (RobustICA) is proposed in this paper. The fast varying components of the harmonic voltage and current measured at point of common coupling (PCC) are extracted as mixed signals. By applying RobustICA algorithm to the mixing matrix, separation matrix and independent components are obtained, and then harmonic impedance calculation and harmonic emission level assessment of both sides are performed utilizing matrix transformation of Norton equivalent circuit equations. Simulation with Matlab software based on Norton equivalent circuit and typical load curves proves that the proposed method can acquire better assessment results than traditional methods for different background harmonic fluctuation levels. Validity and practicability of the proposed method are also verified with field test data, proving its wide application prospect. © 2020, Power System Technology Press. All right reserved.
