摘要
Optimal Power Flow (OPF) is one of the most important requirements in all developed power system. It is an optimization problem try to make a re-distribution of the active and reactive power caused a minimizing of an Objective Function with respect of a set of technical and economical constraints. This process involves adjustment and use a set of control variables. Usually, control variables are the generator voltage magnitude, transformer tap changing, injection shunt capacitance and generator active power at PV bus, while the state variables are the active power at the slack bus, the load voltage and the generator reactive power. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used in this paper to solve the OPF problems according to the two Objective Functions: active power losses and Fuel Cost. The proposed algorithm is applied and tested for IEEE 30 bus and shows better results when compared to other previous work.
