摘要：

The success of Novozymes in reducing the cost of biomass ethanol enzymes is discussed. The company has reduced the cost 12 fold making ethanol economically feasible as a fuel. The company was working on to improve enzymes for the conversion of lignincellulosic biomass, into fermentable sugars. The company plans to work on cost-competitive enzymes in an integrated effort with the industry.
