Additively manufactured polymethyl methacrylate lattice structures: Effect of 3D hybridization on compressive strength

摘要
This paper presents the experimental investigation on the compressive strength of additively manufactured Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) lattice structures (LS). The study focuses on two different types of lattice structures, namely, Schwarz primitive (SP) and Gyroid. The hybridization of these two structures was done along three mutually perpendicular directions - X, Y, and Z. The results revealed that the compressive strength of the hybridized LS was superior compared to the primitive ones.
