摘要
This paper aims to study the seismic performance of spatial semi-rigid beam-column connections with T-stub. The middle column connection of steel frame is taken as the research object. There are two spatial T-stub connection specimens, two plane T-stub connection specimens and a spatial rigid connection specimen. Spatial quasi-static tests are carried out, in which load is applied to the column. Based on the test obervations, different deformation characteristics, plastic development characteristics and failure modes are analyzed. From the experimental data the rotational stiffness, hysteretic property, ductility coefficient and energy dissipation characteristics of different joints are analyzed. The different mechanical properties between the spatial T-stub joints and plane T-stub joints, as well as spatial rigid joint were studied. It is verified that the mechanical characteristics of spatial semi-rigid joint under spatial load are different from plane semi-rigid joint under plane load. © 2017, Engineering Mechanics Press.
