There are few accuracy control methods in the manufacturing field of large steel structure in China's offshore oil and gas development projects. Based on the construction scheme of the loading frame DSF for an offshore natural gas platform, this paper summarizes the precautions in plate-cutting, special process of the prefabrication and assembly of super large box types of girders, reverse deformation according to the weight distribution and support layout, patching technology for super large box girder, and professional software and instruments for accuracy control and measurement. From the point of view of design and manufacture, accuracy control methods are introduced for offshore petroleum steel structures. © 2015, Editorial Office of Ship Building of China.
