摘要：
The first Gipromez's plant for slag granulation near blast furnace was commissioned in 1975. Other 22 plants were commissioned during next decades at metallurgical enterprises in Russia, India, and Chinese People's Republic. The plants are characterized by durability, reliability and explosion-proof operation. New small-size plant for slag granulation near blast furnace was developed in 1994. Mechanical granulation of slag is performed. Granulated slag is dried by means of residual heat in drum water-removing units. Low consumption of electric energy and compressed water is provided. Efficient cooling of slag particles in water is performed.
