Processes of hot rolling of strips have been considered. The 2000 mill has been created for efficient production of the strips. The mill has been designed for producing the strips from continuously cast slabs. Steel for the slabs is smelted in basic oxygen converter. Optimal conditions of rolling the strips have been determined. Technology for rolling the strips from transformer and dynamo steels has been developed. Technology for rolling the pipe billets from steels of 10G2FBYu, 09GSF, and 23G1SU grades has also been created. System for diagnosis of the main drives has been implemented. Automation of the steel is provided.
