Current researches in wireless sensor networks (WSNs') localization algorithms are introduced, and these researches are analyzed and concluded. The precision of the nodes' locations are important for the data's effectiveness in WSNs'. The localization algorithms are divided into range-based and range-free. Range-based algorithms use the measured distance and angle to calculate the nodes' coordinates. However, the range-free researches use hops or evaluated distance to localization, which are simple but low-precision. In different occasions, the algorithm should be taken account in the network's size, cost, precision and so on.
