摘要
The hydrolysis-polycondensation (HP) products of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) in various pH media were introduced as silica sources in the synthesis of zeolite A nanocrystals. The synthesized sample had the minimum Si/Al ratio and crystal size when the HP process happened in the natural medium. With the increase of acidity or basicity of the HP process, both the Si/Al ratio and the crystal size of samples also increased. However, the sample had a trace amount of FAU phase and the lowest crystallinity when the basicity of the HP process was strong. The diverse properties of samples were essentially due to the polymeric state of silicate precursors that resulted from different HP processes of TEOS in various pH media. © 2014 Elsevier B.V.
