摘要
To investigate the transformation of solitary wave along a composite slope and the strongly nonlinear phenomenon such as wave breaking and air entrapment,a two-dimensional numerical wave tank based on the CIP (constrained interpolation profile) method was constructed. The composite slope was more identical to the real sea coast. The fluid-structure-air interaction was treated as a multiphase problem.THINC (tangent of hyperbola for interface capturing) scheme was applied for free surface capturing, and virtual particles were arranged to reconstruct the boundaries of objects.First, the generation of solitary waves was validated. Then, solitary wave with different incident wave height propagating along a composite slope was investigated, including the evolution progress and the validation of surface elevation which agrees well with the experimental data. Finally, the influence caused by vertex on the compound slope to free surface elevation and velocity field was further analyzed. The results show that the numerical model based on CIP method is robust enough to simulate solitary waves propagating along the composite slope. © 2018, Editorial Board of Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
