Sulzer Medica AG purchased the pump activities of the A. Ahlstrom Corporation, Helsinki. The acquisition strengthens Sulzer's position in pumps for the pulp and paper industry. Sulzer Pumps expects benefits from Ahlstrom's know-how in production and process technology.
