摘要
Based on the Winkler model, a series of separate discrete spring models were assumed for pile surrounding soil, and the theoretical calculation method on the deformation and internal forces of tapered pile under lateral load were established according to Euler-Bernoulli beam deflection curve equations. Based on the formulas, calculated procedures on the pile force and deformation were built, and the characteristics of tapered pile were analyzed. The accuracy and reliability of the theoretical model built in this paper were verified by comparing with the transparent model test on tapered pile under lateral load. Then the lateral bearing capacities of tapered pile influenced by pile type (such as taper angle and pile length), pile parameters (such as compression modulus) and lateral load grades were discussed and analyzed. The results show that the pile-soil interaction and reaction mechanism of pile surrounding soil under lateral load can be well simulated by the theoretical calculated method built in this study, especially with the small lateral load condition, and this method can be applied to other vertical horizontal section shaped pile. © 2016, Central South University of Technology.
