摘要
Simulating the inner ow structure of the staggered labyrinth seal, this paper compares the sealing performance changed with the different pressure ratio and rotational speed. And the calculation results are verified by stringent tests. The experimental and calculation results show that, the leakage of seal increases with the raise of pressure ratio, and in definite pressure range, the linearity is good. When rotational speed is low, the rotation has no effect on the leakage. However, when the speed exceeds a certain critical value, the leakage will decrease with increasing rotational speed [1]. This critical value is determined by the sealing structure, pressure ratio and other factors. Based on the analysis of the inner ow structure of the seal, a preliminary optimization of sealing structure is proposed. And the main concept of optimization is to improve the intensity of clearance throttle and the dissipation of kinetic energy. © 2015, Science Press. All right reserved.
