摘要
Tooth-layer specific permeability method is so far the main method for calculating of electromagnetic torque in stepping motors, a novel method for the analysis and calculation of electromagnetic torque was proposed which is called the tooth-layer calculated torque (TLCT) method. The concept of TLCT was defined firstly and its correctness when used to calculate the electromagnetic torque was proved theoretically at the same time. Then the way to use the TLCT method in calculating electromagnetic torque and other performance parameters in stepping motors was described. Finally, a comparative research among the tooth-layer specific permeability method, the TLCT method and the finite element method (FEM) was carried out, with results showing that the TLCT method is characterized by being simple and practical as well as high accuracy compared with the tooth-layer specific permeability method. © 2018, Harbin University of Science and Technology Publication.
