摘要：

The paper presents some new aspects concerning the use of ozone in pulp bleaching. The kinetics of ozone bleaching and some characteristics of the action of ozone on lignine and polysaccharides are briefly discussed. The posibilities of ozone usage, comparing high and medium consistency bleaching technologies which are used at industrial level are underlined. Sequences that include ozone are presented, highlighting that the position of ozone stage in the process, highly influences the pulp brightness.
