摘要
With the opening of the arctic passages, the navigation safety of ships in the region has become a significant concern. The interaction of ship-ice is a complex process, which involves a variety of nonlinear problems. This paper describes a numerical analysis to simulate the process between bow and ice collision using MD Nastran and provides the results such as deformation of bow and sea ice, stress and strain of hull structure and components of energy during ship-ice collisions. The research results from the simulations show the detailed process of ship-ice collision, indicate the response of hull structure and provide a significant reference for the design of ship structure under ice loads. ©, 2015, China Ship Scientific Research Center.
