A collaboration was announced by Mikoh Corp and Intermec Technologies to incorporate Smart&Secure RFID transponders into a unique array of p-s label constructions. The companies are supposed to develop label constructions designed to take advantage of Smart&Secure labels produced by Intermec's proprietary converting operation. The first Smart&Secure label products for general use in item management, supply chain and logistics application were likely to be released early in 2001.
