Research and simulation on priority setting strategy for calls in low earth orbit constellation system

Focused on how to set the service priority for the initial calls and handoff calls in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation system, the effects which the proportion of different calls take on the call completion probability was analyzed. A Dynamic Reservation Channel Assignment (DRCA) strategy was proposed. The DRCA strategy can dynamically adjust the priority of different calls according to their proportion by changing the permitted probability of the initial calls. Simulation shows that the strategy can achieve a better call completion probability while guaranteeing the forced terminated probability.
