摘要
High Velocity Oxy Fuel (HVOF) Thermal Spray Technology produces coatings with high erosion and corrosion resistance. These E-C processes are the most usual problems of municipal solid waste incinerators plants. This work shows the characterisation of the optimal coatings obtained and a further study of their behaviour under wear, erosion, corrosion and E-C tests. These tests reproduce the process that takes place inside this kind of plants. A Ni-based powder alloy was used as a feedstock material for this study. The results show that spraying gas (Hydrogen or Propylene) and different spray parameters give better corrosion or erosion properties. The coatings sprayed by Hydrogen shows better corrosion behaviour. The coatings sprayed by Propylene shows better mechanical and tribological properties. In both cases the Ni based HVOF coatings show good protection behaviour for the exchangers on the MSWI.
