摘要
Fast and accurate detection of rotor winding inter turn short circuit fault can shorten the processing time and reduce the cost. Influence of inter-turn short circuit in excitation circuit on transient impedance parameter was analyzed, and it was predicted that, under the action of step voltage, the rise speed of the excitation current will become faster when inter turn short circuit occurs in generator rotor winding. In order to verify the assumption, a simulation model of a 300 WM turbine generator was established using a finite element analysis software, the excitation current rising speeds under the step excitation voltage were compared considering the variation of short circuit level and position, at the same time, the variation of the currents in the short-circuit loop, the damping loop and the stator winding parallel branches were studied. The simulation results verified the correctness of the theoretical analysis. A new detection method was proposed for rotor winding inter-turn short circuit fault in turbo generator. © 2017, Harbin University of Science and Technology Publication. All right reserved.
