摘要
Wireless Sensor Network plays an important role in environment monitoring, such as high-way, power grids, etc. However, limited energy of sensor nodes and static linear network can't meet the demands about network lifetime, in order to improve lifetime, this paper presents a lifetime optimization model of linear wireless sensor networks based on mobile sink. Firstly, according to the characteristics of energy consumption of each node and wireless linear network, this paper gives the proof that the sojourn time of Mobile Sink at each node is decreasing when Sink node is farther away from the central node, and the sojourn time is symmetrical about the central node. Then this article gives the further proof that there exists a boundary node k in wireless linear sensor networks which the number of nodes is n, when mobile Sink begins to move from the node k, the network lifetime is maximized. Finally, the maximum lifetime optimization model of linear wireless sensor networks is given. Compared with static network and random mobile Sink model, the implementation results show that the lifetime optimization model proposed in this paper improves the network lifetime.
