摘要
The age of uranium object is one of the most important attributes in confirming that a nuclear component being inspected is the declared one. Based on the simulations, the effect of self-absorption on uranium age estimation was analyzed. The results indicate that it is possible to reduce the influence of the self-absorption by recalibration with the characteristic γ-rays of 210Tl.
